A Space to Heal, Grow, and Thrive
Virtual psychotherapy
for adolecents and adults
Something hard happened, and part of you is still living in it.
Trauma doesn't always look like a crisis. Sometimes it's a quiet unease, a distance from the people you love, or a body that never quite feels at rest. Wherever you are, you don't have to figure it out alone.
I'm a licensed clinical social worker and trauma specialist with over a decade of experience working with teens and adults.
About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey with more than fifteen years of experience as a social worker and garden therapist. I bring a strong commitment to cultural humility, shaped by my own intercultural experiences, recognizing how deeply race, culture, gender, and sexual identity shape our lives — and how much they deserve thoughtful attention in therapy.
I specialize in child and adolescent trauma, a foundation that informs my work with clients of all ages. I support individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and other emotional difficulties.
Because healing looks different for everyone, I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, creative arts therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and sensory-based methods. Together, we'll find what works best for your unique needs and goals.
Alongside my online private practice, I work as a clinician at a non-profit supporting trauma survivors and their families.
Evidence-Based Therapeutic Approaches I Use
-

EMDR
EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing — an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process distressing memories that feel stuck. It's widely used for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and other experiences that continue to affect daily life long after they've passed.
-

Creative Arts
Some things are hard to put into words — and that's exactly where creative arts therapy begins. By bringing drawing, writing, movement, or music into our sessions, we open a different door to expression and healing. You don't need any artistic skill or experience. The process matters, not the product.
-

IFS
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is an evidence-based therapy built on one core idea: we are not one single self, but a system of inner "parts" — each with its own feelings, beliefs, and role. Rather than trying to silence or overcome difficult parts of ourselves, IFS helps us understand and heal them.
-

TF-CBT
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is one of the most researched and effective therapies for (young) people who have experienced trauma. It helps you understand how trauma has affected your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors — and builds practical skills for moving forward with more safety and confidence.
-

Mindfulness/Grounding
When the mind is flooded with worry, or the body feels disconnected from the present, mindfulness and grounding techniques offer a way back. These are practical, evidence-based tools — not just relaxation exercises — that build the capacity to feel safe in your own body, even after difficult experiences.

Starting therapy is a big step — and I want to make it as simple and comfortable as possible. Here's what the process looks like from first contact to first session.
1) Reach out
Send me a message via email or the contact form. You don't need to share anything detailed at this stage — just let me know you're interested and a little about what's bringing you to therapy.
I respond within 24 hours
2) Free 15-minute consultation
We'll connect by video or audio call — whichever you prefer. I'll share how I work, and you'll have the chance to tell me what you're looking for and ask any questions. There's no commitment at this stage.
3) If it feels like a good fit
We'll schedule your first session. You'll receive intake forms to complete beforehand — these help me understand your background and goals so we can make the most of our time together.
4) Your first session
We meet online via secure telehealth. The first session is about getting to know each other — there's no pressure to dive into everything at once. We go at your pace.

I don't work directly with insurance, but that doesn't mean your plan can't help. I provide a superbill after each session , a detailed receipt designed for insurance submission which you can use to request out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so it's worth a quick call to your insurance company to find out what you may be eligible for.

My fee is $185 per 50-minute therapy session.

Yes , a limited number of reduced-fee spots are available for clients who need them. If cost is a barrier, please don't let it stop you from reaching out. I'm happy to have a private, no-pressure conversation about finding a rate that works for you.
